http://www.damninteresting.com
A very appropriate website name for This Is Hell, DamnInteresting is a great collection of science and science history articles on the types of wackiness us hellions relish, you know the kind... Tesla's failed (or foiled) plan for free energy for the entire planet involving giant Death Ray towers, tiny extremeophiles being used to clean up a giant pit of toxic waste, or the nearly forgotten story about the first subway system in 1870 Manhatten, that used giant underground pnumatic tubes that could move people at a theoretical rate of over 700 mph. That kind of stuff.
